    Very nice! I like that it doesn’t feel like the pacing is shifting down at all, was worried with the retreating from Shinji that they wouldn’t be able to keep the pace as good. Seems I worried for nothing!

    Man this comment section got trolled hard. Sad to see. This is an incredible series. Has a great balance of everything. It is hilarious, has great action/fantasy, some romance, and awesome fights. Really has it all. I think some people need to stop reading a comic and critiquing every little fault and being so narrow-minded and just read it to enjoy it. Every comic has flaws. Yes, this series can get a bit repetitive at times, but it is an action/adventure/fantasy. All series in this genre have similar Arcs where the MC travels and gets stronger along the way with each fight to overcome the odds. That is what these genre are. You can either accept that, or just not read this genre. This series is unique in that it is well written, with great humor and balance throughout so many Arcs and chapters. It has so much depth and the characters are just great. While it can get silly and get corny sometimes, other times it is deep and meaningful. Obviously if you read this only as a critic, you will be able to find some faults in over 500 chapters. But if the only real fault people can come up with is it being repetitive, than I think that is a win for this comic which has lasted so long.. If you want to talk about repetitive, go read Detective Conan LOL.. But for a series to survive in this demographic, it has to be good. And this one has survived for over 500 chapters. This is telling to its quality and fanbase.

    This manhwa is like a fish that just been killed and left alone. Starts off edible but then rots and becomes unbearable with its stench. Contaminating everyone. Even if you look at the rating, it has fallen below 90% which would eventually fall to 1% so just skip this one.

    Don’t listen to the hard-core fans who had this as their first manga… This is so repetitious and its basically just the same thing remade over and over again after reading the first 40 chapters. Listen to my advice and don’t bother with this piece of garbage. I mean, the first few chapters were nice though. If you want good manga goto one piece/ horimiya. If you want good manhwa goto the breaker and the breaker new waves. If you want a good and satifying manhua goto Tales of demons and gods or battle through the heavens.

    Okay i’m done with this manga. I gave it 348 chapters but i just can not take the MC’s patheticness anymore. How many times do we have to watch him rely on his shemale friend to come save him. How much longer do we have to watch him depend on her to fuel him into fighting at a high level. How much longer do we have to watch the MC talk big only to get his butt kicked and his shemale friend swoop in to save him only to be beaten herself than watch as that fuels him into going super sayian. MC is all talk and no bite,he has zero self motivation to fight,which is terrible for a MC, his shemale friend has to be dying in order for him to fight at a high level. I’m done.

      Why the heck are you here then? The first commentor waited until 348 chapters…. really.. hero then comes out of nowhere and says he is done, even though we are over 500 chapters in. If you were truly done, you would not have read so many chapters. I do not think I have ever heard someone reading 348 chapters then complaining about it the whole series. Why did you continue reading then? I think what it is is you just have a shallow view of the story and cannot look past the first layer of things. The series is so much more than just him relying on his lover, getting beat, and finding motivation. It is a story of strength, will, determination, companionship, loyalty, and love and all the battles that go with it. What you describe is exactly what a human is. They are not perfect and they always need reassurance and motivation. Our MC has been far from pathetic this series, as his strength has saved countless people and driven so many more to fight. I feel sorry for you if what you described is all you see in this series. I feel you were just putting your expectations of what an MC of this genre should do and be and hoping to get your way, and when it never occurred you acted like a spoiled child and cried about it. I feel sorry you could not enjoy all the great aspects of this series and instead only picked on and focused on the things you felt were lacking.

    After reading 300+ chapters the recurring theme of this manga is that MC faints a lot,he definitely has to have set an all time record for most fainting in a manga series. Also will we ever see the MC finish a fight on his own without fainting and being saved like some damsel in distress all the time.

      Seriously, 90% of the story the MC is poisoned and has to find some way to deal with it.

    I wonder if this manga in inspired of “The Kung Fu Cult Master”. Because not only the appreances of the main cha (including the sword & blade) but also the story is much of alike. Tho I enjoy much more of reading this, I’ve already read 5 times, but still want to re-read again.

    btw. it is bit of strange that only Chun Ma hasnt offspring.

    Answer me pls if you’ve the same feeling about the film and this manga.

      well The Kung Fu Cult Master is chinese and ROTL is korean. TKFCM was released 1996 but ROTL was released 1994, so its not possible that ROTL is based from TKFCM.

    lol.. why does he just take his word for it that she is dead?? He just blindly believes everything he is saying and then blames it on Bi Kwang, even though he knows the type of person the leader of Sinji is, and he knows the circumstances of why BiKwang was fighting. God it must suck to be a naive, gullible puppet that can be manipulated so easily. If BiKwang doesn’t dispose of that kid in the next chapter I am going to be pissed lol. And the Author better not pull some random power out of nowhere and make him as strong as BiKwang. That will make me even more mad.

    This has been an epic series. Of course every series has its flaws. And flaws will always be more glaringly obvious with series that are this long, but for me, the overall feel of the story never changed much for me, and that is what kept me reading. I thought the Author had a really good balance of humor, progression of the plot, down time, fighting scenes, ect.. Has been a joy to read all this time, and we were lucky enough to have quick and timely releases for most of the story. Thank you to all the Scanlators for that! I really hope this series gets an ending fitting for this epic, because it deserves to conclude in a good way after everything they have been through.

    At first, this manhua was so awesome. I love how to main character han bi kwang was played. However, a fatal flow of the story keeps repeating. Like when fighting, the main character is being pushed first before he can show his true power. Even though he had already trained with great masters, even a low skilled martial artist can push him back at first. .Please make it more unique. Dont make it a practice that in every fight, the main character is being bullied first before he can show his true accidental power. So boring. I though this Manhua was Unique.

      Sure… let it be like Sword of emperor, that escalated very quickly since it followed your principles and got dropped coz MC got invincible in 50 chapters… and they had to drop it (the LN) coz the rest of story prob felt meaningless, which happens when MC can kill anyone under the sky with his mind or something…

      You haven’t being attention, OP.

      There is no gap in the chapters - the story flow will tell you that.

      The translators just numbered them differently as they felt that some chapters were too short and so just joined them together. The explanation should be on the first page of chapter 483.

    One of my fav series of this genre.. So many of these types of series with this kind of length start to get dragged out and lose a lot of their original feel and essence, but this series has been great all the way through for the most part. It is rare for a series to still be really good 500 chapters in.

    To those asking if they should read this manhwa;

    For my opinion, this is my best manhwa ever followed by TOG & Noblesse….fine, it is not popular compared to those 2 manhwas but it has one of the best art, if not the best artwork considering that it started in 1995 then.
    The only downside to the manhwa is that a chapter comes out once in 2 weeks but immediately u start reading, I promise u, u would never regret one page, infact u would get angry @ the mangaka that he is suppose to release chapters weekly & not once in 2 weeks.

    It´s the most popular Manga up here, thats why i looked here…. And then i read this…. synopsis?.... Whatever that is, it absolutely doesn´t motivate me to start reading at all, because it tells me nothing. There are even 5 different names i don´t know what to do with. Which of it is the MC? You could have left there nothing and it would be the same. So please…. Please change that. Someone who has an idea what the story is about, write a synopsis that makes one want to read it!

      There is no good and bad. This manhwa does a good job showing that, it is all merely perspective, who wants what and why. The main forces are Black (Yin), White (Yang) and Sinji. For everyone good there is a bad and for every bad there is good. But ultimately this manhwa shows the act of balancing yin and yang. Good stuff.
